Virtual Keypad MCP

A read-only Model Context Protocol server for the DMP Virtual Keypad (SecureCom) API. Connect it to an AI assistant to ask about your systems, panels, doors, schedules, people, and event history.

Copy this, then paste it into the client you use.

Where to paste it

• Claude

  Open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste the URL, and click Add.

• ChatGPT

  First turn on Developer mode under Settings → Security and login — without it the option does not appear. Then open Plugins, click +, and paste the URL. Keep the /mcp path; ChatGPT will not accept the bare address.

• Claude Code

  Run this in your terminal:

  claude mcp add --transport http virtual-keypad https://virtual-keypad.ankrom.ai/mcp

What happens next

You will be asked to sign in with your own Virtual Keypad account — this server never stores a password, and it can only ever see what your account can see. The sign-in screen also lets you choose what to grant: systems and configuration, live status and health, the people directory, event history, and access rights are separate, and you can withhold any of them.

Read-only: no arming, unlocking, or record changes are possible.
